Case Study St. Edward's University Branding Identity
Project Summary
To rebrand the university requires understanding what the university which will start off in the research phase. To make use of the research on how it will play a role in the designing process, I will be creating a strategy that will help influence the design in order to convey what the university is represented as. The final step would be the designing phase where the use of strategy and research and an influence on the design.
Role
Student at St. Edward's University majoring in graphic design. My role for this project was to work with the class on researching what the university is about and do individual works for designing and strategy phase.
Research Phase
Based on the university's mission statements, St. Edward’s University is an independent Catholic university that welcomes qualified students of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs and serves a culturally diverse student body.

Problem
The university that talks about diversity is shown to have a high acceptance rate but fails to keep their students from leaving and graduating. The university's compactors are shown to have a lower acceptance rate but a higher graduation rate.
Solution
Creating a visual language that promotes the university is an opportunity for all students that seek higher education.
